How It All Started
In 1972, W.L. Smith Supply Co. stockholder Ed Ihrie agreed to trade his ownership of Smith’s other branches for complete ownership of the Wilson and Roanoke Rapids branches. Under Ed Ihrie’s ownership, the company changed its name to Ihrie Supply Company and grew from two branches with seven employees and 8400 sq. ft. of warehouse to eight branches with over 65 employees and 125,000 sq. ft. of warehouse. Our customers include local plumbers and building contractors to universities, military bases, hospitals, and anyone in between.
What We Do
Ihrie Supply Company is a full service plumbing, HVAC, and industrial wholesaler. We represent a wide variety of manufactures to offer our customers a complete line of products at competitive prices. We supply Comfortmaker and Tempstar heat pumps and furnaces, Noritz tankless water heaters, Kohler and Delta plumbing fixtures, Charlotte Pipe PVC pipe and fittings, and tools from Dewalt and Milwaukee to name a few. Our contemporary showrooms provide you with a glimpse of our products in authentic settings. We provide counter sales to those needing just a few items or we will drop off a truckload of supplies right to your jobsite.
